Sandgate has undertaken numerous syndications since its establishment in 2002.

 

In 2006, Sandgate became part of the Corovest group, property advisors to Ciref Ltd, an AIM listed property investment fund.

 

In 2010, Ciref was renamed Redefine International PLC and its listing was transferred to the main board of the London Stock Exchange.

 

In 2013, Redefine converted to a REIT ( Real Estate Investment Trust ) with listings in London and Johannesburg.

 

Following the ‘internalization’ of Redefine’s management company, Sandgate has been re-established as an independent business.

 

Sandgate's founder, Stephen Carlin, has been active in the real estate industry for most of his career.
